Project Runway Wannabe

So…I entered a Formal Wear Competition.

Above is the beginnings of my entry. Pinned and planned. I proceeded to sew by hand.  As you can see, I set up in my small townhouse…this is the dining room, table just out of the photo. What dining room is complete without an exercise bike?

For two months I worked on my own design and here is my finished creation…

…complete with rose bud straps and a sparkling rosey wrap!

While I wait for the verdict, I just need somewhere to wear it to.

I’ve seen this look in my Mother’s High School photos.

This photo is frighteningly similar to the time I got a tight 80s perm and bob…resulting in a not so flattering Orphan Annie look…except I blonde…not red.
