Do you have a dishwasher or wash your dishes by hand?

My Answer:
I wish I had a dishwasher.  Alas, I wash my dishes by hand.

    I have a dishwasher but it is heartbreakingly BROKEN. *sob* So, I do dishes by hand, though I do use a lot of paper plates and the like.

    I have to say I do both. I wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher and I always wash my pots and pans by hand.

    Mostly I use the dishwasher. But like some have said, I do some prewashing, and I have certain mugs that I have to do by hand because they have pewter emblems that could fall off. And always any crystal I do by hand, also the pots and pans and bigger serving bowls…

    I have a dishwasher, BUT we wash dishes by hand. We actually need a new dishwasher, and I don’t see the point of washing the dishes first then putting them in the dishwasher. Once we get a really good dishwasher we won’t be washing by hand anymore.

    With seven people living in my house, I NEED and LOVE my dishwasher, or else we’d be eating off paper plates.

    When it was just me and my daughter, when my husband was away for six weeks at a time, I’d do extra duty. I’d wash our dishes first, than I’d wash them in the dishwasher.
