My Brother, The Gospel Singer

Let me tell you about my baby brother, Dave.  He’s very talented.  He plays the trumpet and has a beautiful tenor voice.   At my wedding he played the trumpet and sang.  It was lovely.

He’s part of The Helmsman.  They had their first concert this past Sunday.  Sadly, I was unable to attend due to a slight time difference…I am currently 14 hours ahead of him.  Being in Australia makes it a bit difficult to attend…I’m always about a day early!

I was thrilled to learn that someone took a video and uploaded it to YouTube.   It’s not a professional video.  Perhaps, I am the only one who can appreciate it.  I’m sharing it with you.

    Oh I love tenor voices. Don’t mean to talk about myself on your blog, but just felt like sharing how much I enjoy tenor voices BECAUSE my father was an opera tenor, and made numerous performances for the church. I love tenor voice in a church setting - it has the most beautiful effect.
