Happy February!
February’s arrival brings in chocolates in

In grade school, I constructed a Valentine’s box
to exchange cards with the other children in my class. In high school, I hoped I would be thought of on Valentine’s Day and presented with one of the carnations
the cheer leaders were selling for the Athletic Boosters. In College, I prayed for a date to the annual banquet. I’m married now and preparing to celebrate my first Valentine’s Day as wife. Like many of you, perhaps, we are pinching pennies as we start out our life together.
Though Hallmark and Hershey’s would like for us to spend, spend, spend on this hallowed day for lovers, we aim to create a romantic day without spending the cash. It’s tough because I see so many things in the stores and online that I would love to get for him…or have given to me…but this year is going to be special. We are having a spend no money…spill the love Valentine’s Day!
I would like to make a month of romancing my husband…not just one day. I invite you to join me. Share your “no money needed” romantic idea in a post on your blog. Leave a comment here including the link to your post.
Plum out of ideas? Come here to find some. Share your favorite romantic movie. Post a clip from YouTube. Share your favorite romantic book. A recipe…a song…poem. Feel free to use the “Month of Romance” graphic on your site. Spread the love all month long!

oh! this is fun :0) give me a moment and I’ll play too
What an absolutely cute, cute, idea. I like your blog. It’s neat that you are thinking of ways to share romance without spending money. I remember my first Valentine’s day as a new bride!
