As I write this, 2008 is 28 minutes old. How exciting! A new year in a new land as a newlywed! My husband and I have high hopes for 2008. Ha! Hope seems to be the theme of 2008 for me. The Lord keeps bringing that word up in my devotions. Today in Romans these verses jumped out at me:
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:4
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13
HAPPY NEW YEAR ABOUNDING IN HOPE!

Happy New Year! Praise the Lord!
Happy New Years! Your site is great! I was browsing, found Mommie Daze, then found yours. I too am starting to work out. I recently lost 15 pounds but am still losing. I want to incorperate working out back to my schedule. “Fit”full Joy is great! Karenfriends
My first visit here and I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. Such wonderful posts and much wisdom.
I also read your husbands previous post about the computer widow and I just love it! I think husbands would probably have a better understanding of this topic if explained by another man because well….they’re peculiar like that. I may just have to print it out and show it to my husband. Hmmmm, now, I’m wondering how to go about that without say….offending him. Like I said, men are a little peculiar but they are wonderful and I wouldn’t trade mine for the world! I’m glad you’re blessed with such an understanding husband
I really enjoyed my visit and will be in your blog neighborhood soon. Happy New Year!
